The D3 supports various protocols, including UPnP AV with audio streaming extension (OpenHome), Roon Ready, Plex, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, FLAC Lossless Radio, Tuneln Radio, AirPlay 2, Gapless Playback, On-Device Playlist, and Multi-Room (Songcast). It handles a wide range of audio file formats, such as DSD Lossless (DSF, DIFF, DoP), PCM Lossless (FLAC, Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF), and Compressed Audio (MP3, AAC in M4A container, MQA).
Featuring a robust new processing system and an output stage built around the Sabre DAC ES9028PRO chip, the D3 delivers impressive performance, supporting PCM up to 384kHz, 32-bit, Stereo, and DSD up to DSD2S6, 1-bit, Stereo. It offers seamless upsampling and downsampling to all supported formats up to DSD2S6/PCM384. The D3 includes RJ45 1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet and USB inputs, as well as XLR balanced, RCA unbalanced analog, and BNC S/PDIF digital outputs.
Control your listening experience effortlessly with the renowned LUMIN app. It natively supports TIDAL, MQA, Qobuz, and Tuneln Radio, displaying Tidal MQA and Qobuz high-res icons for easy identification of high-resolution music. The app ensures a flawless user experience with support for high-resolution artwork, artwork caching, search functionality, multiple tag handling, composer tag support, album grouping in playlists, automatic internet links to artists, albums, and songs, and the ability to save and restore playlists (including Tidal and Qobuz). Additionally, the D3 features precise volume control through the Leedh processing algorithm, eliminating rounding errors, and is now included at no extra cost on all LUMIN players.
