With the V5 Elektra, IsoTek presents a new mains filter that offers complex, efficient current optimization and high-grade overvoltage protection at an attractive price: In favor of optimum performance, the current optimizer has six slots, each with its own filtering and precisely dimensioned: two outputs are for high-wattage amplifiers and four outputs for Source devices designed. If more is required, the System Link also enables simple modular expansion. We tested what the V5 Elektra does in terms of sound.

As IsoTek's new entry-level model in the line filter portfolio, the V5 Elektra does an excellent job: at an attractive price, it combines high-grade overvoltage protection with complex, efficient current optimization. Each of the six slots is equipped with its own filtering - and this in turn is designed to fit: The four connections for source devices and the two outputs for amplifiers are filtered differently in favor of optimal performance. This effort was worth it: The V5 Elektra provides greater clarity, transparency and resolution in terms of sound and causes an increase in terms of precision, dynamics and bass power. The reproduction clearly gains in plasticity and spatiality and thus in presence, intensity and liveliness. When listening, you also notice a greater calm and relaxation.
